PASTOR CLARENCE WHITE III

It is not uncommon to hear Pastor Clarence White explain to a person or a group that "people take pain from their past and convert it into a motivating force that drives them to a positive future."   His educational  pursuits and the privilege of serving at New World Church have provided an opportunity for him to help others in their charge forward, specifically toward relationship victory's.  Pastor CW, as affectionately known at NWC, admits to utilizing personal lessons learned from his own successes and failures. These lesson serve him as motivation for being an outstanding husband, father, minister, and counselor.

During Pastor Clarence's tenure at NWC, he has had the opportunity to lead The Gathering-which is the Thursday evening worship experience,  the Conquerors-NWC’s men’s ministry and co-facilitate Youth Bible Studies.  He gladly promotes the highlight of his tenure with New World Church as the marriage to the incredible Tracie Jae, and being trusted with rearing their children, Zakiyyah, Nailah, Tahirah, Myles and Caden.

Pastor Clarence began his educational journey at the renown  Florida A & M University in Tallahassee , Florida.  He earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Actuarial Science and Business Administration before accepting a position with a regional commercial bank. Although business was his focus, he developed an early interest in psychology that lead him to pursue a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Master of Divinity at the Perkins School of Theology of Southern Methodist University.

His desire is to become an outstanding minister, counselor and advocate for healthy and whole relationships. These educational accomplishments will give him the skill sets to make an immediate by providing theoretical knowledge; however, New World Church and Pastor Robert Johnson have afforded him an opportunity to receive invaluable practical experience.  The sum of his educational and life experiences places him in a position to help others recover, reconcile, and be renewed
